Former Wall Street Diva KIC’s Herself…And Encourages You to Do the Same

Dawn Michelle Hardy, publicist extraordinaire and sister-friend to SheBiz.net caught up with a truly inspiring passionista who has created a brand that strictly focuses on motivating our sisters to “KIC” themselves! Allow me to introduce you to our latest dream girl, Tyeisha Delk, of Brooklyn, New York. Here’s what she explained to SheBiz, “KIC (kick) is a play on words. When you do something that you know you should not do you look back in regret and want to “kick” yourself. My motivation is for women to KIC themselves in advance through the touchstone triggering that comes from wearing the bracelet. “Don’t be controlled by your emotionsBe reminded of what you truly want and how you want to be perceived and act accordingly.”

Tyeisha describes ‘touchstone triggering’ as being similar to tying a string around your finger to remind yourself to do something. The bracelet reminds women to connect to that positive thoughts, intentions, and mindsets that encourage happiness, peace and harmony. She created KIC-Yourself bracelets, which reminds women to keep it-confident, courageous, cool, classy, cute, celibate, charitable, Christian, chic, cheery, and other positive “C” adjectives. A KIC-Yourself bracelet is a constant reminder of that mindset.

Tyeisha, walked away from her cushy “Wall Street,” job that she thought “made her who she was” to pursue her own path to a happy life. She realized that she wasn’t living her life on purpose and definitely wasn’t happy. “Two years prior, I lost my baby brother to a senseless murder and as a result it helped me put things into perspective. I had to take a chance on me and see that it wasn’t the high paying job that made me. It is the fact that I am a child of GOD. I shifted my focus and now I’m living every day as if it’s my last. My passion it to help women become aware of this same truth.”

Tyeisha believes that wearing the bracelet is an easy way for women to connect directly to an existing positive attitude. The bracelets, which are made of sterling silver, leather and Swarovski crystals, trigger a specific mindset that will keep women walking in peace and harmony during life’s hectic moments. Her goal is to encourage at least one million women to KIC themselves by sporting the bracelets.

Here are a few of Tyeisha’s suggestions for ways fellow passionistas can KIC themselves!

Keep-it-Clear:  Listening to your intuition and allowing GOD to speak through you while on your journey to purpose and passion.

Keep-It-Confident: Don’t allow yourself to be overwhelmed. Stay on your path and keep moving forward.

Keep-it-Clutter Free: Remove whatever takes away from your productivity.

Happy KIC’ing Dream Girls!

SheBiz is Back with Basketball Wife Jennifer Williams!

Hey Passionistas!

I’m baaaack! I know it’s been a while, but life called for a bit of a hiatus. Though it appears that SheBiz was absent, I’ve been busy chasing down some fabulous passionistas! I plan to share all that I’ve learned about them with all of you.

Last night, reality TV star, Jennifer Williams of the VH1 hit show, Basketball Wives, hosted an event to launch her new lip gloss brand, Lucid, right here in NYC at the posh Big Drop boutique. Needless to say, the launch was star studded and fabulous. It was all lights, camera, action, gloss, dons, divas, stilettos and fabulosity all over the place! Look forward to a glimpse of the event in the upcoming season of Basketball Wives.

That’s not all I want to focus on. Recently, I had the distinct pleasure of interviewing Miss Jennifer and was able to get the inside scoop on the woman behind the reality persona that we’ve come to know. I can surely tell you that Jennifer is not just another pretty face. She’s a well-educated, savvy business woman with brilliant ideas. There’s so much more to look forward to and I will be sure to clue you in every now and then about what’s happening with this passionista.

Keep an eye out for my full article on Jennifer Williams in upcoming publications. In the meantime, enjoy these few pictures from last night’s event.
